Hurricane Gustav caused a lot of deaths, concern and disruption to the lives of the people close to the Gulf of Mexico. People in crisis may take some comfort from this song sung by Angie Ewing.
This is not another disaster fund raising song but, I believe, one that would not feel out of place in commercial chart and compilations of love songs, not just pop/christian. Angie has a lovely voice and is worthy of airplay.
The video was shot in four different locations in and around the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. The project features actual footage from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on both the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the city of New Orleans. You may purchase the song online from your itunes store and some of the money raised will go to aid agencies in the USA.
